Travelling to Sorrento

The best way to get to Sorrento is to fly to the Capodichino airport in Naples. The airport is 7 km north-east of the city center. Several international and national airlines serve the city of Naples.

by air

Once you are in Capodichino take a bus (better) or a taxi to Napoli Piazza Garibaldi (also known as Stazione Centrale).

In the main station look for the Circumvesuviana. It is a small underground station where every 45 min, on average, there is a train to Sorrento (terminal station).

From the Sorrento station, call the hotel and a shuttle or a car from the organization will come to pick you up.

by rail

You will arrive in Napoli Stazione Centrale, then just follow the same instructions listed above.

How to book hotel

Send an email to info@vesuviosorrento.com (and as cc. to longo@na.infn.it) specifying in the subject "VO-Tech Meeting".

The mail needs to include arrival and departure dates, type of accomodation etc..

Due to the fact that the hotel is not in the center of the town, half board is strongly recommended.

Late cancellations will cause a penalty to be charged at the organing committee.
