Stage 05 Planning Meeting

Dates

• The planning meeting for Stage 05 will take place March 12-15 (Mon-Thu), 2007.
• (Deadline for room reservation was 14 Feb 2007)

Accommodation, Visitor Information, and Room L130

• Host: European Southern Observatory, Garching bei München, Germany
• Location: Conference Room L130, ESO/IPP Building
• Contact the secretariat of the ESO Data Management Division, Nina Felber (nfelber@esoNOSPAM.org), to arrange hotel accommodation and taxis.
• NEW: Subway line U6 connects the institute with Garching and Munich city (not the airport). Garching hotels are only one stop away. Hence, there will be no organized transfers.
• Room L130 is located at the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik (IPP) L7A building behind the canteen, a 5' walk from ESO's main building where there is the new home of the Data Management and Operations Division (DMO). See map of campus and pictures.
• IMPORTANT: Access from the ESO main building to the IPP building requires an access card. Meeting participants are advised to go to the IPP main gate (rear subway exit on arrival), where they will need to be signed in, and then walk to the L7A building, following the route described here. When arriving by taxi tell the driver that you need to go to the "Forschungsinstitute" in Garching, at the IPP. In case of any problems please go to the ESO main building reception and call the DMO Secretary, Nina Felber (ext. 6692; +49 89 32006692 from outside ESO), or Markus Dolensky (ext. 6261; +49 89 32006261 from ouside ESO).
• A common dinner will take place in the Bürgerstuben (map) on Wednesday evening starting at 19:00.
