- The planning meeting for Stage 08 of VO-TECH, which is also the Second Technology Forum of the Euro-VO AIDA project, will take place September 29th - October 2nd in Cambridge

Hotels
It would be good if you could arrange your own accommodation if needed for this meeting. The Cambridge tourist office has an
extensive accommodation page.
Cambridge hotels are also listed - the Cambridge Lodge Hotel is the closest to the
IoA - a 10 minute walk
(but Cambridge Lodge is apparently closed for maintenance during the meeting -- MarkTaylor 05 Sep 2008)

The University of Cambridge have preferential rates at The Arundel, The Cambridge Lodge, De Vere University Arms, and the Royal Cambridge Hotel. When booking please mention that you are visiting the University of Cambridge. The discounts offered seem to vary depending on how busy the hotel in question is at the time.

Provisional Agenda
Note: The Wednesday sessions will take place in the Lecture Theatre (unavailable 13.00-14.15 due to lunchtime lectures), the Hoyle Committee Room and Observatory meeting room A.
Hack-a-thon
The "Hack-a-thon" session is devoted to informal discussions. As well as usual cross-project collaboration work, this session must examine key technical issues facing the VO in general and seek common ground between AIDA projects, proposing standards and solutions to be presented to the
IVOA. It is expected that one important outcome will be an update of AIDA WP work plan. Please register the topics you wish to discuss on
StageEightAIDAHackAThon.
