The VOTC Science Team

Scope

The VOTC Science Team (VOTC-ST) is the group which will assess how implementations being derived from the DS groups are relevant to science problems, and arrange the scientific development of (at least) yearly science-services, based on emerging DS designs/ implementations, useable by the community. these implemenations will provide a useful check on interoperabilty of the designs across the groups, to aid the development of a coherent final votech design for the euro-vo.

Science Framework Document

The Science Framework Document will lay out the key science issues being addressed bythe VOTECH project in the construction of the Euro-VO technical system, and list a number of early science programmes likely to be able to make early use of the system implementations being generated and released by VOTECH through its project lifetime (till end 2007)

The Science Framework Document will be finalised Sep 2007.
