PaperScope 1.0

Introduction

PaperScope is a tool developed for graphically exploring the ADS (http://adsabs.harvard.edu/). It is designed to provide astronomers with a user friendly interface for mapping the Reference and Citation connections between published papers that are accessible through the ADS web interface. The visualization that PaperScope provides enables the user to see how papers are connected and therefore gain a better understanding of which papers are of interest to their work.

PaperScope is under development at the University of Edinburgh, Institute for Astronomy, by MarkHolliman with creative design ideas from BobMann, EricTittley, and StuartLynn

All PaperScope material, including downloads for the latest version, are now available through SourceForge. Please go to http://paperscope.sourceforge.net/ to download PaperScope or access the online documentation.
